''A very solid tenor saxophonist with a style that has some of
the heft of Coleman Hawkins and some of the swing of Zoot Sims..."
- Gary Giddins, Village Voice
Perhaps best known for his international engagements as featured
soloist with legendary jazz singer Annie Ross, White has led his
own groups since the mid 70's at venues such as The Supper Club,
Blue Note, Birdland, Merchants N.Y., and Dharma as well as in London's
Half Note Club and the famous "606."
